4.11 Carolina Convicts - RB Peyton Barber

In the real world: Barber, a second cousin of former Cowboys RB Marion Barber III, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent.  He doesn't stand out in any one regard, and it doesn't bode well that his NFL.com draft profile compares him to Josh Robinson (drafted in Round 6 by the Colts last year, was cut and hasn't signed with anyone since).  That same draft profile also says the reason Barber went pro as a redshirt sophomore is that next year's draft class figures to be strong at running back (which it will be).

In the TUFF world: Carolina also owns the Bucs' starting running back, Doug Martin--they've had him since drafting him four years ago, sticking with him through thick and thin.  In short, this is a nice handcuff pick.
