3.13 Arizona Outlaws - QB Cody Kessler

In the real world: The Cleveland Browns were expected to take a quarterback to either supplant reclamation project Robert Griffin III, or at least compete with him. Kessler isn't expected to do either, and in fact profiles as a backup (adequate arm strength, takes what the opposing defense gives him).
In the TUFF world: The Outlaws picked Griffin fourth overall in 2012 with the hope that he would be a big upgrade over Carson Palmer. Fast forward to 2016, and Griffin is the backup to a now-36-year-old Palmer. Still, this is a good pick for Arizona just because it shores up their depth at quarterback for this season.  Passing up QBs Jared Goff and Carson Wentz at 1.13 is still a gamble, but at least now the gamble's not so big.
