3.03 Minnesota Fighting Saints - RB Daniel Lasco

In the real world: Todd McShay: "Lasco's lower-body explosiveness and top-end speed (4.46 40) give him a lot of upside as a RB." The Saints drafted him even though they already have four running backs (Mark Ingram, C.J. Spiller, Tim Hightower, Travaris Cadet). Lasco demonstrated his athleticism at the Combine and had a really good season in 2014. In between, though, he suffered through hip and ankle injuries.
In the TUFF world: After taking two WRs earlier on, the Fighting Saints turned to the one area on their roster that needed the most help--running back. The Saints, under Sean Payton, have made good use of their RBs over the years (starting with Reggie Bush and Deuce McAllister, and later on, Darren Sproles). And from a fantasy standpoint, you never know--Lasco could beat out Cadet for a roster spot, then be one injury away from being a key contributor.
